Whether you are looking to get back in shape, get in shape for the first time, change your body and lifestyle, or get out of your current fitness rut, I will help you create an eating and exercise plan that is hard work but fun, challenging yet achievable. I offer flexible programs to help you achieve your goals.  I offer 3 options, choose:
  1. 1-on-1 Personal Training, instruction intense program meeting 1-4 times/week,
  2. The Managed Fitness Plan, meeting once/month to assess your program and keep you on track,
  3. or Online Coaching, customized individual eating and exercise programs with weekly check-ins.
With over 36 years of experience behind me, I can quickly tailor a program to meet your unique and specific needs.

TRAINING OPTIONS

All Training Options are optimized to make the most of your time and effort, helping you to achieve the results you want without having to "live at the gym", or do things like weigh your food, or count every calorie.
All Personal Training and Coaching begins with a fitness assessment and dietary analysis to understand your unique background, needs, and goals.

1.  1-ON-1 PERSONAL TRAINING - "4 PoiNTS"

  • This comprehensive, multi-disciplinary training system includes advanced eating and exercise strategies.  4 PoiNTS is the culmination of my 36+ years of knowledge and experience.  This program is like nothing else out there.
  • Due to the details of this training program, a minimum of one Personal Training Session per week is required.
  • This program naturally focuses on 4 distinct areas of personal development: 1. Flexibility/Mobility, 2. Skills-Building/Strength Training, 3. Cardiovascular exercise, and 4. Nutrition & Recovery Methods.
  • Effective eating, food selection tactics, and macro-nutrient manipulation is emphasized and coached specifically to each client's food likes, and dislikes.
  • 4 PoiNTS can be tailored to meet all types of clients, from the greenest beginner, to the most advanced competitor.  This incredibly effective exercise and eating system will be customized specifically to your lifestyle and needs and includes 1-on-1 instructed workout(s), home workout planning, diet/nutrition/supplementation counseling, and 24/7 coaching assistance/support (text/email).
  • The goal here is maximum results in the minimum time period - I will do whatever it takes to create the changes you are looking for.
  • Through a combination of workouts, meal planning, accountability, and assessments, I will work with you to make the physical and lifestyle changes that will allow you to maximize your personal potential.

2.  The Managed Fitness Plan (MFP)

  • You will meet once per week, every week, with your Fitness Coach for 30 minutes.
  • In this coaching session, you will work your way through a brief workout and review the exercises you will be performing in your exercise program. Expect to work with your coach for approximately 30 minutes, and then on your own for another 15-30 minutes.
  • A notebook (training journal) will help you immensely, especially one that is well-kept over the long-term. Also, calendar apps, such as iPhone Calendar, are very useful for recording workouts and can help keep you organized.
  • In addition to strength training, expect to receive detailed information on cardio, flexibility training, diet, supplementation, recovery, work, recreation, and rest.
  • We will identify the key factors in your life that are currently not allowing for your fitness goals to be met, and work on solutions to resolve them.
    We will create a plan, unique to you, that fits your lifestyle and personal habits.
  • Your training will evolve over time. Your initial workouts will be quite simple, but you will progress to more sophisticated routines, in time, at your own pace.
  • The eating plan prescribed will allow you to consistently and predictably lose body fat from Day 1. This eating plan (not a diet!) will also evolve over time to something that works for your fitness goals, AND allows you to "feel normal" and "live your life".
  • You may receive a printed template of your eating and/or exercise plan (PDF document(s)), but you are expected to keep a detailed training journal of your own.
